Message from the President & CEO
NTT Resonant Incorporated had its genesis in the development team that pioneered Internet search in Japan. They created goo, the first fullfledged Japanese-language crawler-type search engine and a web portal, launched in 1997.
NTT Resonant was formally established in 2004 through the merger of NTT-X (provider of the goo portal and search engine) and video communications service provider NTT-BB.
To achieve the goal of building a communications environment that meets the needs of individuals, business enterprises and telecommunications service providers alike, NTT Resonant emphasizes not only Internet search services, but also other customer-centric services, from health-related websites to mobile gaming applications.
Over the past few years, NTT Resonant has built on the strong position that it enjoys through operating goo (with an average of 95 million unique users) by providing search services, content services and mobile applications for Japan’s largest mobile network operator.
Taking as a starting point the know-how that the company has accumulated through the provision of services to consumers, as well as the platforms that has built in collaboration with the NTT R&D (a world leader in ICT-related R&D), NTT Resonant is currently working to strengthen its global solutions, such as Remote Testkit, which is already being used by more than 10,000 users in over 20 different countries around the world.
At NTT Resonant, we are proud of our role as a company that provides Internet services that can help to create an exciting, bright future for the world. We will continue working to create even more value for our customers in Japan and internationally.
President & CEO, NTT Resonant Incorporated
